Scope of Work

South Pars Gas Field is located offshore about 100 km South West of Assaluyeh, Persian Gulf, Iran. NIOC intends to develop South Pars Gas Field phases 15 and 16. POGC has been selected for the development of entire field. They have given a contract to IOEC/ ISOICO/ SAFF for the offshore portion. ISOICO is phase 16 EPC contractor and SAFF is phase 15 EPC contractor. Basic/ FEED has been performed by AKer Kvaerner and detail design is to be done by SLTE. The offshore development of phases 15 and 16 consists of two wellhead platforms SPD15 and SPD16. Each phase has one wellhead platform, one intermediate support platform bridge connected to the flare platform. Each wellhead platform has 15 slots. Produced gas is routed via 32 inch pipeline to onshore facilities in Assaluyeh. Gas export line is accompanied with a 4 inch MEG line.For the purpose of this procedure, the superintendent is charged with the overall responsibility for the direction of day to day operations of the barge and attendant vessels, the direction and general welfare of the persons onboard those vessels and the execution of the project works. The superintendent has the complete and ultimate command of the barge(s) and attendant vessels and to whom all personnel onboard these vessels are responsible.The superintendent will, where necessary, consult with the appointed representatives of the Company and the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and the contractor.This operation will be performed by SAFF OFFSHORE INDUSTRIES Company by two heavy lifting crane barges and the engineering services will be represented by SAFFROSEMOND. Details of this operation and required activities have all been clarified in this Installation Manual.

Brief Description

This section highlights the scope of work for the installation of the WHP Jacket. On arrival in the South Pars gas Field, jacket installation location, a pre-installation survey will be performed. After launching the Jacket and placing in free floating horizontal position in the water, the Jacket will be kept during moving to upending position by one tug boat and then upended and positioned at the pre-determined location by SADAF 3000. Then the piles will be stabbed and driven to their final penetration, leveling of the Jacket will be executed, if required, crown plates for each leg will be welded out and grouting of the annulus between main piles and jacket leg will commence. Subsequently, four buoyancy tanks will be removed then the pile cut-off will be performed and four (4) barge bumpers and one (1) boat landing will be installed. Finally the wellhead module will be installed and the Jacket completion work will be undertaken.
